Christian Renewal Church is privileged to be the
only church that is able to visit the inmates at
Glynn County Detention Center twice a year…the
Wednesday before Mothers Day and before
Christmas. For Mothers Day we take pre-stamped
Mothers Day Cards, Christian literature and
homemade cookies made by members of our
church family. We usually prepare for over 450
prisoners and it takes great effort by our entire church family to accomplish
this task! That adds up to ALOT of cookies with 6-8 per bag!
A team from CRC will take pre-stamped MOTHERS DAY CARDS &
HOME BAKED COOKIES TO THE DETENTION CENTER on Wed., May
7th. The home baked cookies will bless the prisoners and the Mothers
Day cards will be given to the inmates to send to their Moms. You
may begin now bringing already stamped Cards for Mothers. Place in
the basket in foyer labeled “Mother’s Day Cards”. Sign Up on Clipboard
in Foyer to be on one of the ministry teams and to bring cookies.
Please bring Home Baked Cookies between April 27th and May
6th. Important details on packing cookies may be picked up in the
foyer (no zip-loc bags or store bought cookies). Boxes need to be labeled
clearly with the number of cookies they contain. Please begin
praying now that the Lord will open the inmates’ hearts to His Love.
Thank you in advance for making this ministry possible!
