Christian Renewal Church is a non-denominational, spirit-filled church that believes the church exists for those outside our four walls. At the heart of our church is the desire to help all people: Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.

Senior Pastor Mark Linton
Pastor Mark Linton began serving Christian Renewal Church on June 1st of 1990. After faithfully serving for 26 years as Youth Pastor and 2 years Associate Pastor, he stepped into the role of Senior Pastor on June 1st of 2018.
Humble and passionate, Pastor Mark is relentless in his love for God and people.
Our Story
Christian Renewal Church was born in a time of spiritual awakening. People were hungry for the Holy Spirit, and prayer meetings had formed in homes, offices, and churches around Brunswick and the Golden Isles.
On September 9, 1973, one hundred people crowded into a small meeting room at a local bank for the first church service. The pastors were surprised by the large turnout, so the next Sunday the church was moved to Howard Coffin Park Recreational Building where the congregation quickly grew to two hundred. Eventually the church was moved into new facilities at its present location.
Since its beginning Christian Renewal Church has been known as a dwelling place for God’s presence – a place where people can receive Christ as Savior and Lord, and be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Our greatest joy is to help people who are far from God, come into a genuine, loving, and personal relationship with Him, and be a part of a thriving community of believers making a difference in the lives of others.
