Pursuing renewal in our city because God is worthy and people matter.
If you're exploring churches in Brunswick and the Golden Isles, here's a look at who we are and what to expect on a Sunday morning. There's live worship, a message from Scripture that's meant to connect to your real life, and a room full of people who are still figuring things out. You're invited into that — not as a spectator, but as someone who belongs.
Get Directions Watch a MessageHere's what Sunday looks like.
After you park head towards the covered driveway. As you walk through the front door, someone will greet you. Grab a cup of coffee if you'd like and find a seat. The service runs about 90 minutes — we start with worship, live music led by our worship team with lyrics on screen. We take a moment to greet our neigbor and share a few announcements. Then there's a message from Scripture followed by a response time of singing and prayer.
We won't ask you to introduce yourself out loud or raise your hand. But people here are genuinely glad when someone new walks in, and that tends to show.
The preaching is honest. We'll talk about real things. You might hear something that challenges you or names something you've been carrying. That's not an accident — it's kind of the point.
That said — nobody here is going to pressure you or manipulate you. You can sit in the back, leave right after, and come back next week or never. But if something in you is looking for a place to belong, we hope to help you find it here.

Kids are welcome — and we mean that.
Preschoolers have their own room from the start of the service: songs, a Bible story, snacks. Elementary-age kids stay with you during worship, then head to kids church. Check-in for both is right inside the front door when you arrive.
There is a dedicated room in our front lobby for nursing mothers with a live feed of the service.
We're a Spirit-filled church that's been in Brunswick since 1973.
Back in 1973 a hundred people crowded into a bank meeting room because they were hungry for something real. That hunger hasn't gone away. We take the Bible seriously, we believe prayer actually does something, and we don't think faith should be tidy or painless.
Worship is led with intention. The preaching is honest — we'll talk about failure and grace and what it actually means to be human before God. We value authentic relationships and encourage our members to connect through small groups, events, and serving.
Christian Renewal is a non-denominational, charismatic church dedicated to fostering a community where people can encounter God and experience renewal.
